Technically, there's always debt, but I stay on top of it. I'm exercising a little bit of discipline and just using my debit card until mid-December, though. I had to pay my CC company a pretty big bill recently, so I'm taking it easy until then. Then I'll splurge a little bit on Christmas and what not, without going too overboard.

Right this second? I owe a few hundred.

That will be paid off like it is every month.

I always pay the bills in full, and my small debt will probably be gone in three months.

We have one personal credit card and one business credit card. Both are used for day to day expenses and are paid off completely at the end of the month. We have discover card and have used the cashback bonus for a new dryer, dishwasher, ipad, weed trimmer, etc. Free money

I'm at about $5000. A little credit card debt isn't bad if you are paying it off routinely. It actually helps your credit more than never using your credit card.

I don't see the point in this other than possibly flirting with paying interest later on down the line for something you could have just paid off now.
I know what you mean jellybean. When the wife does go back to work next year, we'll put the money towards the credit card balance. I just don't want to to use our savings right now. Which was a good move thus far, as I had to have my appendix out last month. Which wasn't cheap even after insurance.

almost always have a bit of a balance b/c we use it for bills (cable, phone, home/car insurance etc) and for everyday purschases like coffee. All bout those travel points

$5000 a little? Unless you are a big spender, pay your statement balances in full each month and your utilization ratio is low enough (which is highly unlikely at that amount), having $5000 floating around will not help your credit score and paying high interest is never a good thing.

Up to 5000. Im on wage garnishment. Long story short I made some bad decisions in my early twenties a few years back.
