Well Poatan is fighting Ankalaev.

And Gane is fighting Aspinall.

Who do you think has the better chance in being victorious?

Poatan. I feel Gane is too one dimensional compared to the well rounded Aspinall. And Aspinall also hits like a truck. I see Gane's weakness being exploited. Of course, I could be wrong and maybe he travelled to Dagestan and worked on his wrestling.

Poatan can definitely knock Ank out or brutalise him if he keeps the fight standing

I think Gane has improved since his fight against Jones. He won't be as one dimensional you would think. But we will see soon enough, can't wait.

I think the odds will show Alex has a way better chance. I haven't checked but im guessing Gane is plus 400 while Alex is prob plus 175. That seems right

Gane has very small chance in my opinion, if any.

Poatan so so. Based on the last fight, not easy to see Alex winning, Ank is tough, he was better at standup. Maybe Alex can outpoint Ank carefully, but any chaotic exchange is dangerous for Alex.

You could be right, but based on his history the smart pick is the complete opposite

Its only blind hope to think otherwise

I'm going with Gane. I think he's better than people give him credit for here and Pereira is a tad overrated as much as I like him as a fighter more. We're also talking about a fight we've seen before where Pereira was beat in multiple areas, where Gane is younger and we truly have no clue how he matches with Aspinall. I will say assuming they both get steamrolled by grappling, atleast Pereira has more KO power, but Gane has that too.

Against Ankalaev, Alex looked off. I don't know why or what it was, but Pereira just did not seem to be in the fight, at least mentally. Whether it was arrogance, lack of motivation, discrediting Ank, other aspirations, or really was a broken hand, something about Pereira just wasn't right. Ank won the first fight clearly, but I expect we see a different fight this time around.

Gane just doesn't seem to fight with any heart or strong will to win. Just seems like a point-fighter waiting to land his good shots. I won't lie, if Gane beats Tom or takes him to a decision, I will be shocked. I like Gane over most of the UFC's top-10 heavies, but Tom matches his size and speed, but with more power.

Poatan, but with Heavyweight you really never know what could happen.

At HW there’s always a puncher’s chance. Gane could catch Tommy and put him to sleep, although it’s unlikely. Ankalaev ate Poatan’s shots like they were nothing and actually rocked Alex early in the fight. This time he’s going to brutally finish Poatan.

Poatan 60%
Gane 55%
