TS is so fucking insecure he can't even add his bromance figure to the list. Conor belongs on your stupid list, and you damn well know it.

Thankfully he didn't include Condit on the list. Carlos was never really the same after fighting GSP and I'm pretty sure Lawler really just hammered the nail home. I remember Carlos going something like 4-9 before he hung it up, and losing to guys he probably shouldn't have. A shame too, he was a fun fighter to watch. :(

Chuck was in such bad shape. That fight shouldn't have been sanctioned lol. Yikes

Lol yeah, wasn't it in Cali? They could have just have Chuck fight like multiple homeless people in quick succession, that would have been a more suitable spectacle for Chuck to be in, TBH.

Seriously though, I remember the clip that came out of him hitting the bag and I seriously thought the dude was just trolling Tito and everyone else. But it proved to be that it was him doing 'legit' work on the bag lol

What's really crazy is that Cali is arguably the most with it place on the planet when it comes to regulating MMA. They're next level compared to most places, have a pension plan going and shit. Trailblazers.

And they allowed that shit to happen lmao. I mean, I remember that vid, and I remember being in disbelief that he looked  that bad. He'd been going on for months at that point about how after Tito he was gonna knock Jones the fuck out, but what I saw in that clip was about as far from that as it gets. I knew within about 20 secs of round 1 of that fight that it wasn't going to end well and that the clip was legit. I think we all did. The man said he was gonna decapitate Jon Jones, but was ultimately KTFO and embarrassed by his greatest rival. And Cali, arguably the best, allowed it all to go down. Suppose they love them some drama.

Lol yeah, I was about to say that about Cali, but then I remembered they moved from Vegas to Cali when Jon popped... Lol

Indeed it was very painfully clear in what a horrible state Chuck was, very quickly. Impossible to hide it in a fight when you are in such a rough shape.
I also remember him talking about challenging Jon and how he has the reach to fight him and how he intentionally gave the wrong reach to the UFC to mess with his opponents. Mad respect for a boss move like that though . Sun Tsu would be proud.

Barao

From champion and p4p discussion, to a loss streak on Fight Night prelims in like 2 years.

I think this probably goes to Silva, went from being GOAT contender to unable to beat anyone.

Penn had a pretty brutal down fall too.

Ferguson (although not done yet), Liddell, Weidman, Woodley, and I’m sure I’m missing some others.

Who do you think had the worst downfall from grace in mma?
Same... I love Silva, but he went from GOAT to 1-7-1...
Granted, some of them were close and could have gone his way; but still...

Jose Aldo. UFC and Dana pretty much shit on him and 'canceled' his career after losing to Conor. This guy will give unlimited rematches to guys who havent even won 3 fights in the ufc but absolutely stalled Aldos career after this.

"Downfall from grace" is redundant and the title bugs me every time I see it.

Came in here to post this, Barao had a much steeper decline than Penn. BJ never seriously trained and went up and down literally 6 weight classes through his career, from FW to HW. Barao was listed as a GOAT, met Dillashaw, and faded into obscurity after a loss streak quicker than anyone else, even if his early career was padded with cans. People like to say BJ got knocked out by a fat guy, but that was the first time his chin was ever cracked and he had to be drunk as shit for it to happen.

Renan went from 34-1 and people talking about P4P status to 36-10.
People like to say BJ got knocked out by a fat guy because...

.......wait for it......

He did in fact get knocked out by a random fat guy in the street.

Not as big as some of these, but I remember watching Josh Grispi's career implode in real time. From being a finishing machine, verge of a title shot, to losing 4 straight, getting bounced from the promotion by Andy Ogle, and then ending up in jail.
