I don't think there is a better answer than Anderson.
Good call.
Only one silly poster atta time.
That’s a good one most of us forget. Jardine was no world beater, but most of thought he was above fighting a new no-name guy. Jardine thought so as well, and got his shit knocked out... violently.
One of the greatest KOs in UFC history. Such a shame it's never talked about because it comes from Baroni.
NY Bad Ass
not sure if UFC debut
Came here to suggest Lauzon.anderson silva killing 15-1 leben in 50 seconds was impressive. lauzon also killed pulver in a similar time frame in his debut
I was watching that card a few weeks ago on fightpass. It was a small card (only 9 fights )but it had two fighters who went on to win the title and 4 fighters who went on to fight for the title (a ton of future stars on that card).Good call.
Yes he was. His best win was over the ghost of Wanderlei Silva. WEC MW belt doesn't really mean much when you consider how quickly WEC got rid of their upper weight classes (because the talent pool wasn't there). Also UFC MW division was as shallow as it ever was at the time Silva beat Leben.
