Who else would rather see the winner of Burns/WB fight Usman instead of Colby?

No. Whether Colby wins or loses we win. If he wins we get Usman fighting Wonderboy or Burns, and we get Colby forced to be active. If he loses then he will need to accept that Usmans better and will need to fight everyone until either of them retires.

The only risk is UFC giving Usman instant rematch if he loses, as they were happy to help him cheat in the previous bout.

Too much time has passed for Usman vs Colby 2 to happen without Colby getting a decent win first. If they would have rematched immediately (after Colby recovered, of course), it would have been interesting and the fight would have been very compettiva. Now, though, I feel that Usman has leveled up a couple of times and we don't know if Colby has improved or not. Usman went from an incredibly boring LNP machine in Masvidal 1 to knocking him out in Masvidal 2. I don't see a rematch ending well for Colby and he needs to prove himself first.

Wonderboy has always been the fight to make and I'm disgusted that Masvidal has fought Usman twice even if the KO was amazing.

Yeah, I think the odds for Usman would be in the -350 to -400 range, and I just don't want to see a fight where it's that one sided. If that fight does happen, I hope Usman doesn't start changing levels to fake that takedown then just catch WB with a massive overhead for a KO. Woodley knocked Wonderboy down a few times by faking that level change then hitting him with a massive overhand.

Usman has been getting better and better with each of his fights. WB has well, been WB. I haven't seen improvements from him, he's just always been good enough to be a top contender, but at nearing 40, I don't want to see a dejected WB after getting wrestled hard and bloodied by Usman to start talking about retirement.
Yeah if he fights Usman and looses, his career is done. Sure he will fight again, but never a road to the title.

Usman striking is really improving, especially with Wittman.

He TKOed Woodley, he got his win already.
