Who else would rather see the winner of Burns/WB fight Usman instead of Colby?

Although Usman/Covington 1 was a banger, it happened 1.5 years ago. The interest is fading.

Usman/Burns 1 happened 4 months ago. Burns dropped Usman. Argument can be made that with some adjuments (fight IQ and nerves) Burns could beat him. Wonderboy is an interesting stylistic matchup for the champ.

Of all the upcoming announcements, i hope Usman/Covington 2 isn't one of them!

Fo sho... much rather see WB then Colby. I think WBread is the most difficult puzzle on 170 for UZ right now.

I just want to see WB vs. Usman. It’s too soon for Burns, so why risk him taking out an interesting match-up? I’m down for the Colby fight too, but give WB a shot, dude’s getting old

Usman would wrestle WB to oblivion. Woodley couldn't even get out of the clinch against Usman, WB ain't gonna get any space to do anything. No thanks, don't want to watch WB get wrekted.

WB has the best footwork in the division and Usman is flat-footed and plodding. I’m not convinced he’d be able to close the distance that easily. And WB’s style is built on countering guys that are chasing him.

When has WB ever getting wrestled into oblivion? Gotta go back to the Brown fight and wrestling wasn't even the issue there.

WB has some serious TDD. There's a reason Usman hasn't mentioned WB ever.

That footwork couldn't even stop Woodley from taking him down the few times Woodley needed to in order to get the decision.
Usman has far stronger pressure, insane chin, cardio, reach, and far better wrestling.

If Usman vs WB happened, unless WB has been doing nothing but training anti-wrestling these last 5 years. Gonna be a long rough fight for him. I like WB too much to see him get fed to Usman. I'd rather he get a payday fight like vs. Masvidal or something.

I just think it’s bad policy to let Colby have a shot, so yeah I agree I guess.

Colby is a tool but he's the second best fighter in the division. I think Usman wrecks WB, he's just too old....

I think the funnier scenario would be to see Usman finish Colby another time

The big difference between Woodley and Usman is that Woodley is (was) extremely explosive and fast. Usman is not extremely explosive and fast. He can’t close the distance in the same way. I haven’t watched those Woodley/WB fights in awhile, but I really only remember one round where Woodley got a takedown and did anything with it

Woodley took him down one time from a kick.

As long as Usman's next 2 fights are WB and Colby 2, I do not care what order.

I am not bothered about Leon any more, CEO of EPO will destroy with ease, and we can soon move on from this not top 10 fighting hype train decision specialist

Woodley wrapped him pretty badly fro what I remember, didn't he?

Not true, he took him down via body lock against the cage in Woodley vs Thompson 2. Also when he took him down off that leg kick, he was able to hold him down the whole round.

He did, held him down the whole round, and got off massive ground and pound. Bell had to save WB.
Didn't he also have a guillotine locked in for about half a round too? Usman would wrestle fuck WB I think

Yeah, I think the odds for Usman would be in the -350 to -400 range, and I just don't want to see a fight where it's that one sided. If that fight does happen, I hope Usman doesn't start changing levels to fake that takedown then just catch WB with a massive overhead for a KO. Woodley knocked Wonderboy down a few times by faking that level change then hitting him with a massive overhand.

Usman has been getting better and better with each of his fights. WB has well, been WB. I haven't seen improvements from him, he's just always been good enough to be a top contender, but at nearing 40, I don't want to see a dejected WB after getting wrestled hard and bloodied by Usman to start talking about retirement.
