Who else thinks Yoel didn’t even try to make weight with that extra two hours.

Yoel knew if he won, he would get the title shot, so who cares if he makes weight or not. Interim belts mean dick and the winner gets the real title shot against Whitaker.

After he missed weight, they gave him two hours to make weight. With those two hours, he probably went back to the hotel, watched TV and drank Gatorade. Then splash water on his face to look sweaty and went back to the weigh in. Evil genius.

Let Rockhold Kill himself cutting weight, Yoel will just come in super in shape and trimmed down and heavier.

What are you gonna say? I can’t blame him.

It doesn't matter. Rockhold is gonna suck the life out of him..

Rockhold is going to destroy him, doesnt matter if he missed weight or not

I don’t think he did.

He went and pinched a 3-4 ounce loaf and came back knowing Dana had no standards.

He didn’t try, no absolutely not. Honestly it was very smart. Why drain yourself when this is only for the interim title? Come in with a full gas tank and knock this fool out, and then you get the next shot anyway.

Doesn’t matter one way, or the other. And, to whine about it afterwords is lame.

But, anybody that is 100% sure he gets the next TS is retarded.

I’ll only believe he gets the next shot after the weigh-ins for the next MW TS. And, he’s actually the guy that is stepping into the octagon, one day later.

Well it's obvious he didn't since he lost less than a pound. Clearly it was wise, though.

Nobody can say.

But this is the problem with guys missing weight. You don't know how hard they tried, how much more depleted the guy who was on point is, and what degree of uneven playing field that creates.

Romero has like no body fat. What was he gonna lose in such a short period of time

I don't think he tried. Whether it was an evil genius plan the whole time, only God knows.

It probably got Rockhold a little more irritated but I don't know. Maybe it was planned since I think Romero prefers prefers his opponents to be more aggressive and get smashed by power double or a jumping knee.

And yet if the guy that made weight like a professional declines to fight, he gets called a pussy and the company tries to bury him. Pretty dumb if you think about it.
