Who else thinks Halsey beats Schlemenko?

OK this is kinda a dumb post. He decided to fight larger fighters because he thought he wasn't that good?

No, he decided to fight weaker competition because he was not that good. Bellator did not have anyone in the top 50 at MW. At WW they had Askren and some others who are ranked about 20'ish in a MUCH deeper division.

Who do you think is a tougher challenge, Askren who is an amazing wrestler when Storm has zero ground game, or random #50 MW with all around weak MMA skills in the all around weak MW division?

I know who I'd rather fight, and it's not the Funky One. So if you think it's a dumb post you simply have no MMA knowledge.

Hello.....Lombard???? Not to mention Askren was 3-0 when Storm joined Bellator. He was definitely not top 20. You don't know what you are talking about.

At 0-0 Askren was a nightmare for Storm, who has little ground game.

WW is just a much deeper division, and is wrestler heavy, his weakness.

In April 2010 Askren had his first BFC fight. Oct. 2010 Askren won the Bellator WW title. The entire tournament took 6 months.

In April 2010 Storm had his first BFC fight. He lost to Lombard in Oct. 2010, and then it took them 2.5 years to complete another MW tournament and name a new champ. They completed 3 WW tournaments in the same time. Which division is deeper?

Why did Storm fight at 185 when he was a champ at 168lb? Who was the best fighter Storm beat in Bellator at MW?

What on earth are you talking about? Storm was in another tournament within a year after losing to Lombard.

Storm joined Bellator when Askren was a nobody and fought an established mma fighter and Olympic judoka. You're making zero sense here.

Don't argue against the obvious.

I would not be at all surprised if Halsey takes him down and chokes him unconscious in the first or second. Nor would I be surprised if Halsey blankets him and smothers him into subordination for five rounds straight.

Does anyone else hear that phone ringing?

Shlemenko is ok one most overrated guys there is and brandon hemsley embaressed him

Most everyone on Sherdog always thinks that Shlemenko will lose after he struggled in his most recent fight. He usually proves everyone wrong, though. He struggled against Jared Hess and everyone thought Bryan Baker would destroy him; he struggled against Brett Cooper and everyone thought Doug Marshall would destroy him. Now, he struggled against Tito Ortiz and everyone thinks that Brandon Halsey will destroy him. Shlemenko's got a great chance of victory here, especially after he's gotten some training in with the 'door.

Halsey's submission game's the only thing that Shlemenko has to worry about, and if he's been spending as much time as everyone hopes he's been on his wrestling (and, considering he lives in Russia, it shant have been too hard to find some good wrestlers to learn from), there's a very good chance Alexander will probably not be on the ground long enough for Halsey to get anything going (or at least not in a position on the ground for Halsey to get anything going).

Fedor looks really fresh for a guy that just pulled a 6 hour training session in that suit. WAR the 'DOOR!
