Who else things Khabib got beat by Tibau??

I just saw the Khabib vs Tibau fight for the first time today on UFC Fightpass, I hadn't seen the fight when it originally happened. There is a lot of hype about Khabib because he is 22-0, but to be honest he got beat by Tibau, should be 21-1. If anyone hasn't seen the fight then look it up, Tibau was struggling badly to get the takedown and he was getting muscled around a bit. the actual fighting is boring and not many strikes land, but clearly Tibau won 29-28, judges gave split decision to Khabib but the judges were awful at that event and made many poor decisions that night.

Yup, I thought Tibau won that fight too, but could have been a draw too. I haven't seen the fight in a while but I remember is was boring.

Khabib realy pressured tib in this fight.tib couldnt do much when he was on fence and khabib also landed hard shots.
I had it 2 rounds to 1 for eagle

It was close enough that either way the decision went would not have surprised me. I had Khabib edging it out though.

I had Khabib winning by being much more active,but he had alot of trouble controlling the big man. It was his hardest "fight" due to how much effort he had to exert to keep the guy against the fence.

I watched it and a few times and i feel the eagle won a close fight. Many people including me believe Gus beat Jones but the official winner in JBJ no matter what.

Tibau literally did nothing but defend. 100% defense doesn't win a fight. Khabib's takedowns were stuffed but he was 100% offense. Don't need defense when the other guy isn't attacking.

d.) he dominated their fav fighter(s)--really need to stress this one

Get over it. Tony will probably give you the vindication you seek so just shut up until then. I hope Khabib can Khabib Tony too, though. 23-0 baby

It was one of those fights that had me thinking it could have gone either way leading up to decision being announced. Tibau has made guys look worse than they are/were, though. No biggie.

I think I remember having Khabib as the winner purely on the fact that he was the more active pressure fighter. I think I had it 1-1 with a toss up round

To be fair to Khabib, that was almost four years ago. There is also a big difference between being 23/24 and being 27. It was his second fight in the UFC. The Khabib we saw there was much less refined when it came to MMA wrestling.

The Khabib RDA fight shows you just how much he had improved in just a couple of fights.
