Who else is excited to see how Bendo and Thomson will do against Bellator elite?

Really excited to see 3 huge Bellator fights coming up, especially Henderson/Koreshkov and Thomson/Chandler. Also Phil Davis taking on King Mo. I think that fight will really test how far King Mo has come in career and would like to see him win but still give the edge to Davis.

I think Benson finds a way to win against Koreshkov but if it stays standing it could be a close fight. Chandler should dictate the fight against Josh and get the UD but it will be interesting to see how both of these fights play out.

Who you got in each fight?
 
More interested in Bendo.

You could easily argue Thompson is on the decline so I can't say I'm expecting a world beater out of him.
 
As an Askren fanatic i'm real excited for Koreshkov vs Bendo.

Thomson not so much, I get why they are doing it, but none the less the freezing out of Will Brooks taints my excitement level for the fights in that weight class.

Chandler and Thomson is a real fuxking fight. Should be excited. People may look at the way Thomson left the UFC, on a skid, but he got robbed in two of those. He's also the only one to ko Nate. Still, I have chandler. Id like to see a tko, but will probably go ud

I have benson winning via more experience, but Andrey could make me eat crow. The dude is criminally underrated. I see another ud in this fight. Expecting good scraps
 
Never cared about Phil Davis or King Mo. I'm pretty happy with the Chandler vs Thomson matchup but we probably don't even care about this card because of UFC 198. I'll happily take Werdum vs Miocic over the blanket match any day.

I got Koreshkov over Bendo, none of Bendo's WW wins tell me he will get the title.

I'm always supporting PhilD, the man does his job like GSP or others does, I don't get the hate around him. I expect him to win the belt

Thomson, like other poster said, had some close losses, he is still a top fighter IMO and should be a competitive fight against Chandler. I don't think he would have a chance against Brooks but maybe I'm being biased because I love Will.

Bendo is one of the best LW in the world, he could have a strong possibility to take the WW or LW belt, I don't think it will be easy (I pray for Bendo vs Will) but he is such a beast and well rounded that he could do it
 
im pretty excited for bendo. thomson im sa to say is past his days of being elite imo. but i would love to see bendo koreshkov this weekend and hopefully bendo brooks at lw or against whoever is lw champ
 
I'm putting 50 bucks on Koreshkov

I think Bendo loses to Koreshkov in a good fight and then drops to LW and loses to Will in a good fight

His role is similar to dan Henderson when he came over from PRIDE

Wills Contract expires in June or July i think they've froze him out till they see if he resigns could sell a Thompson rematch in the mean time though

Realistically if they want Brooks to leave without the title then Bendo is the best chance they have

Thomson split decision
Davis UD

Rooting for Mo and Koreshkov though.

Chandler vs Thompson should be a barn-burner. It's pretty much 50-50 in my eyes.
 
Everyone. Bellator fans are excited to see two high caliber fighters add depth to the division.

Meanwhile Zuffa schills are chomping at the bit to find out whether or not they will be claiming that UFC wash ups are the best in Bellator, or explain that of course UFC wash ups failed in Bellator, because they aren't in UFC so they suck now.

This is pretty much the catch 22 dilemma fighters who leave the UFC are in.

Those who truly hate anything non UFC will claim just that. It is either the ex UFC fighter wins and bellator fighters are complete cans. Or the bellator fighter wins and the ex UFC fighter is a complete washout.

Benson left the UFC on a two fight winning streak at a higher weight class but make no mistake about it, he is washed up.
 
It's always interesting when top guys switch organizations.

I don't think Koreshkov will give Henderson much trouble though.

Thomson/Chandler is a tough one to predict. Could get crazy.
 
Thomson is slightly passed it but still really solid. There was a brief time when he was better than Gilbert. Bendo should be at 170. I think he beats brooks there too.
 
Damn, Koreshkov is better than I thought, and younger than I thought. I figured Henderson would be able to out-grapple him if he needed; and he needed, badly.

I guess Henderson should stick to lightweight.
 
Did Henderson play with his hair the whole fight?
