Don't see why anyone would pick Jones now vs Ankalaev. All he has is size on him and give Ankalaev a few months to move up to HW and they'd be basically the same. Can't see Ankalaev getting done like Gane did& I don't like this current version of Jones' chances in a standup battle vs someone like him.

Time will tell, at this point it’s almost objectively wrong to pick Ank but he could go on a crazy run, I don’t see anyone in the rankings at LHW giving him much trouble, he already beat a lot of contenders.

If he beats Jiri, Reyes and a couple other guys, then I imagine this discussion would be much more interesting.
