I always thought GSP won. Always knew cumulative damage is not how fights are offically judged. Rogan is still learning that.

The UFC went on full blast with their propaganda machine (straight to the hospital, for one example).
As they didn't like to pay GSP more for each defense.
Loads of fans bought it. But George got the win.

Wow, things have changed with time. If I recall correctly, close after the fight a majority thought Hendricks won (which he did). I guess the opinion of who won is swayed by the fighter's popularity.

When this fight happened the polls were roughly around 75-80 percent hendricks.

3 years of Hendricks hate (not that it's undeserved) later and you get this revisionist history.
