Where does this guy rank in regards to the all time greats? I'm not talking about legacy or accomplishments. I'm talking about if they actually fought in their primes, who beats this guy?

This is the list I got

Fighters that would have beat Fury

Muhammad Ali......I think Ali out boxes the boxer. Fury is much taller, but the reach advantage isn't crazy. I think a prime 212lb Ali simply out boxes the much bigger man and has the cardio down the stretch to get the nod.

Larry Homes.....I feel like Holmes out boxes the boxer as well. It's not a beat down, but Holmes wins this fight.

Lennox Lewis.......I feel like he's just a bit better everywhere than Fury. I could see Prime Lewis beating Fury convincingly.

Fighters that could have beat Fury

Mike Tyson....It would have been hard for Mike to get inside and close the distance on such a huge man, but I absolutely think that a prime Mike Tyson could have not only caught Fury, but I could see him completely overwhelming him as well. I could also see Fury simply being just too big for Iron Mike.

George Foreman. . I could see it either way. A 1970's pissed of Big George Foreman could have put Fury's lights out, but also could have been out boxed.

Ken Norton.....I could see Norton Giving Fury all kinds of problems.fff

Either Klitschko brother........In their primes, either Klitschko was capable of beating Fury. I would bet on the Fury we just saw to beat either one of them though.

Ken Norton top 6 heavyweight confirmed

Lewis and the prime Klits for sure then there are a few more maybes.

The last fighter that cut Fury got inside and did damage now imagine a young prime Tyson getting on the inside and crushing Fury and knocking him out.

Holyfield beats Fury also and so does Riddick Bowe.

Big Gorge Foreman old and prime might get out boxed that movement bothers Big Gorge F.

Definitely ali, holmes, louis and probably peak Tyson, holyfield and bowe

Aside from the usual suspects, I think Bowe would very problematic for Fury.

lol at Ken Norton. Ken Norton's success against Ali is a puzzler but he won 1 out of 3 there and was the HW divisions punching bag otherwise. I think people are going a little crazy with the Fury vs All Timers talk but he'd beat Norton without much trouble.

I actually think comeback Foreman is a bad fight for Fury.

Nah, Fury would land about 8 punches a round and win it wide, he wouldnt engage Foreman at all, he may sound and look stupid, but he isnt

Foremans ability to absorb punches and keep coming forward combined with his jab and power is a bad fight for Fury, IMO. Would look like Cooney vs Foreman.

I think both Vitali Klitschko and Fury beat Riddick Bowe.

Bowe had a great jab, but he was lazy with his feet and always ended up banging up close... Vitali and Fury would keep him at length and win a decision.

Morrison beat Foreman, and Morrison wasn't as good as Fury on this back foot.
I think you know very well that Foreman loses this fight, LOL...

Ali was built to beat punchers rather than boxers. Perfect chin, tough as hell and endless cardio. But he looked bad against guys with awkward styles and those who could really box. Tyson Fury is like Norton and Young rolled into one, but with a huge reach addition. Although younger Ali was better, imo, I think Fury matches up well to The Greatest, and it is, without doubt, going the distance.

Lennox beats Fury, imo. Lennox’s biggest weakness, his chin, has some room to breathe against Fury. On the other hand, he doesnt get to just sit behind his jab... this can also be said about Wlad in his prime. Id pick those two over Fury.

Vitali could get outboxed, and this would be a dirty fight. damn, it would be a good one. Could go either way.

I think Big George gets to him eventually. George would get outboxed, much like Wilder, but he has the better chin and doesnt need his legs to produce that power. I think he would be down on the cards but catch him at some point.

Tyson? He would be the favorite until it hit about round 5, then Fury would be, id suspect. Tyson by early KO, or Fury by accumulation, spirit-breaking beat down. Id lean to the latter.

Frazier? Geez, i dont know. That would be another gruelling, back and forth battle. Could probably say the same for Holyfield.

Nah. We've seen a few times that forward pressure is a bad thing for Fury. If Otto Wallin can wade through Fury's best shots and land punches, Foreman can too. Any great pressure fighter of the past is a shit fight for Fury. Holyfield, Bowe, Foreman- all bad fights for Fury.

Cooney and Fury are big, awkward looking, and Irish-level white.
I dont see much in common, otherwise.

Have we ever seen Fury move and box for 12 rounds with the kind of varied offensive skillset of Bowe? Outboxing a guy like Wilder and an old, hesitant Wlad (Wlad had been pretty gunshy for a few fights before Fury) isn't the same as outboxing a guy with an excellent jab and very diverse offensive skillset. Bowe had an extremely brief peak and was very inconsistent (not unlike Fury), but his skillset seems ideal to deal with Fury. Good enough jab to keep things competitive on the outside, the clear power advantage, superior cardio and workrate, and the far better in-fighting skills.

I don't think Fury would have the power to keep him off, and if he doesn't, he'd have to stand and fight, and I don't like his chances toe-to-toe with Bowe.

Vitali/Bowe would be very interesting.
