Thing is if she shook her hand she basically admitted the feud was a hoax and gimmick to gather more interest to the fight. Which it was obviously but why the move benefited her was that it made her stood out form a rest of fighters who would have shaken that hand. And in the end most fame for a fighter comes from the abilty to stand out from the mass. And to do so in a way that casuals can easily understand.

Whatever is spoken between two people outside of competition has nothing to do with competition. When one is left a bloody mess and acknowledges defeat in competition then at least on terms of the fight and competition business there is DONE. They don’t have to like each other outside the octagon and could have stayed talking shit.

DC as a Jones fan I have had a really big love hate thing for the man but now I’m pretty unbiased. Reason One I understand why people don’t like DC is people making statements like you did. We understand the man has overcome tragedy and is a tremendous competitor but dude is clearly the type to do anything to win. I like that obviously as a Jones fan but can honestly say I am well aware Jones used outstretched fingers to deter and annoy opponents and force them to potentially run into pokes. It’s dirty and entirely on the ref to warn or stop. The next level we over here do not condone in any way is intentionally poking eyes and attacking to KO. The towel thing is like I get it you’re old and fat but it’s all the more reason statements like your previous disgust me. The one sidedness of it. Also DC has a ton of nerve trashing Jones as hard as he did for this long even after retirement. I don’t personally care but the streets say Jones aint the only booger sugar bandit in town. I like DC a lot. It’s just I see the shitty side as well and that part I can understand some degree of dislike

Usman- He was a great champ, classy, good role model, yet was widely disliked by a specific type of person.

Belal- Obvious

Woodley- Probably the most disliked champ of all-time

Khabib and Islam- Only disliked by a specific type of person, but that person represents a large % of the UFC community

This will not be popular, but Rousey is overhated and Jones is underhated. Rousey is the most hated fighter on Sherdog, and all for having a bitchy mouth and being a poor sport. Jones also is a poor sport with a bitchy mouth, but he has has done truly bad stuff (no time to list all of them, but we all know the list is long with deeds worse than Ronda ever did); he deserves more of the hate Ronda gets.
