Rumored Who are some fighters who are nicer than they appear?

Josh Barnett, talks as if he's a vicious person often times, and not even as a fake persona for the audience, just how he views things, but from what I've seen from him he's a pleasant guy with good sportsmanship, showing concern for his opponents.

Chael of course being all persona, but judging by the stories people tell about him he seems to have a heart of gold, even if his views on cheating is "if you're not cheating, you're not trying".

Sean Strickland as of late, coming off as a lose cannon, which perhaps he is, but after going through some interviews and hearing people talk about him, he seems a lot nicer than what he presents himself like.

Colby Covington being and obvious one, 100% persona (even if he's in part being absorbed by it, I still think he's a good guy behind all that noise)
Josh was always a great guy. It was known, it is known,

Why exactly do you think Colby is a good guy? Have you ever actually heard of him doing something selfless or non-transactional? Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure in college he was a fun guy to be around. But that’s different.

Anyway, my answer is Nick Diaz. Most of his worst transgressions were before his frontal lobe finished growing (eg Riggs incident). He had a lot of growing up and emotional IQ to learn. And he did…but considering how far back he started, his progress often gets overlooked.

Josh Barnett doesn't have roid rage after all the steroids he has taken?

Barnett must be immune to steroids, that's why he doesn't get the muscles from it either. hah :p

Actually, I defended Barnett, and then I remembered how he challenged Florian to a fight because Florian said some things while commentating that JB didn’t like.

That was a dickhead, bully, I’m bigger than you are so stfu move.

Other than that, I’ve only heard good things :)

Early wanderlei Silva, before he broke character he truly was a psychotic Axe murderer

Jon Jones fights some of the most skilled, trained men inside the octagon, but outside the octagon he just fights women.

If Colby was such a nice guy he wouldn’t be hated by most of his former gym mates.
michael jordan was hated buy teammates. maybe he just has a different approach. doesn't make him a bad guy. or maybe his gymmates are liberals

This clip has actually stuck with me since I watched it when it first came to light not long after the fight.

Just such a real moment. Not enough males ask each other that question, with that much sincerity.

If you think someone you know might be struggling, speak up. Ask them if they're OK, and mean it.

Doesn't make you soft or whatever. Look after your bros. Everybody goes through hard times and needs an ear.
