Tate has more votes as of when I make this post. Interesting...do you guys really believe Tate has improved that much? Or do you just dislike Ronda?

That's the idea. Cash cow Conor is pretty much done for now, at least in terms of him being the UFC's version of Floyd. So now it's back to Ronda again, Dana needs SOMEBODY to be the face of the UFC and to cause some controversy. It's hilarious after getting destroyed by Holm the UFC is handing Ronda a title shot. Why? Because they know she'll eat Tate alive. The fans want Rousey - Holm II. Then the winner gets Tate. But the UFC doesn't work that way. They tried to protect Conor by feeding him Nate, they do the same with Ronda now. Despicable. At the very least let Ronda get a win first before you give her a title shot. How fuckin' stupid is that? She gets knocked the fuck out and get's a title shot in her next fight? Over Holm who just knocked her the fuck out? Talk about bullshit. Makes no god damn sense.
 
Please for f**k sake Miesha win this time. It would be catastrophic if Ronda beat her again.

Nah, I have no problem with this, though it sucks for Nunes imo. Rhonda done a quite a bit for women's mma, so she should get next shot. If people don't have a problem with JJ getting an instant rematch or Cain(before he go hurt) or Weidman then no problem with Rhonda.
 
No surprise there.

They'll probably pay Holm 10mill to retire.

Not surprised. Ronda armbars Tate for the third time, while Holm-Nunes fight for the next shot.

I knew what everyone's reaction would be if they decided to go that route,but the above quote is also correct...and Holly was taking time off anyway. They could say well No one cares if Rousey takes the belt cos she still needs to beat holm,but you can also see that the fans are going to hate ronda no matter what they do with her,so what does it matter? If rousey does beat tate for the title as we'd imagine she will,it at least makes ronda a little stronger going into the rematch with holm,who by then will probably have had a fight or two against someone else.
 
Will RR even be ready to fight by UFC 200?

Doesn't she have a couple of movies to shoot? Each one will probably take at least a couple of months to do. Then she'll have to get back into a training camp.

I honestly don't think she'll be ready to fight by then. This isn't from the perspective of a hater or a fan, just looking at the time commitments.

Yes she will,cos that fight is still the biggest money fight they can make after ronda presumably becomes champ again.

I know there was going to be one, but I said she didn't deserve one.

A rematch makes sense in cases like tonight. Holly was winning the fight and got submitted with 2 minutes left in the 5th round. Let's see how that goes next time.

Ronda was thoroughly embarrassed the entire 6 or 7 minutes of her fight Holly. What is the justification for a rematch?

She is WMMA's biggest icon and is literally the only reason these fights are even happening right now.Thats worth certain considerations. Even if we want to cut out the profitability,she did alot of work to get things to this point,it would be unfair to not give her a chance at redemption,especially considering all the other rematches everyone else gets,which werent close fights.
 
Nunes getting tossed aside in all of this. Sucks to be her.

Here is the crazy thing. Even if Tate wins, she is still down 2-1. So that sells another rematch.
 
If Rousey decides to come back only now that Holly isn't champion I really hope Tate smashes her to bits.
 
Rousey is mentally weak, I would think she would want to avenge her only loss but she wants the easy win i guess.
