As I pointed out, most of the counter protesters, like Heyer, were locals. The person who “made trouble happen” drove down from Ohio, looking for trouble. He drove past a scene where no violence was happening, backed up a significant distance, and then deliberately rammed his car into a crowd of innocent people.

Any attempt to excuse this sort of terrorism is cowardly.
