Over the weekend, images of the White House's Pride Month display went viral on social media—with many claiming that it violated the United States Flag Code. This also came just before Flag Day, which is this Wednesday.

It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777, by resolution of the Second Continental Congress

President Joe Biden celebrated the LGBT community via a social media post on Saturday and revealed a set of flags hanging from the White House that faced the South Lawn. That display included a rainbow-colored Pride flag flanked by two American flags during an event that hosted performers and speakers representing LGBT causes.

President Joe Biden and his administration are being slammed online for a US Flag Code violation after displaying a rainbow-colored Pride flag on the White House.

The president celebrated Pride Month and the LGBTQ+ community with a reveal of the Pride flag between two American flags. But Twitter users were quick to criticize Biden arguing the American flag should be in the center of any display featuring multiple national flags or pennants, according to the US Flag Code.
