Im taking my first fight in amonth and i want plain white grappling shorts. not board shorts the spandex ones that shogun and aa used to wear or the type gsp wears now. but i cant find any that are as plain as possible full contact never has any instock so i need somewhere else to get them any ideas?

Anyone have the white hayabus shorts? I was thinking of grabbing a pair. How do they compare with say the full contact fighter shorts?

hayabusa shorts are nice but from what I have read they are overpriced for what you get. The level of technology/quality is not really that much higher that Clinch gear or sprawl both of which you can get in the mid $40 range rather than high $50 to $60 for the hayabusa shorts.

Here are a few reviews.

If you are looking for white shorts I would recommend Cageside MMA Fight Shorts

or TapouT White Board Shorts - MMAWarehouse.com

or V-Flex XT Competition-White

I definitely recommend Cageside shorts too.

Btw, those Hayabusa shorts reviews are for the previous models, not the new Kyoudo models that they sell now. I haven't seen a formal review of the new shorts yet.

yea i was hoping no one would notice . I also have not seen a formal review of the new model. I have not tried cageside shorts myself but I hear great things.

I might have to go with the KimuraWear on looks alone. But, I am looking for vale tudo shorts, not the ones that are similar to the sprawl shorts.

so why were you asking about the hayabusa shorts? The kimurawear ones do look nice

I like both of them. So quality might be what sways me to one or the other.

I would say the kimura wear shorts are higher quality. The haybusha shorts look like truths versions but alot more money.
