White Gis w/ Colored Stitching...

I ordered a new Gi from Redstar BJJ, the Light Pro model. I was just wondering if I should color lock it in the bath tub before the first wash, so the red from the stitching doesnt run? My SYR SuperLite I bought off a local guy so I dont know if it was color locked but there is no pinking in that Gi.

I don't think the stitching will bleed. But if you want to be safe I guess do it anyways.

thanks, this is my first new white gi. I have blue Koral Classic which I bought new that I color locked (but it still faded a a bit and turned my drier blue, lol.) and a SYR Blackstar that I color locked and didnt fade. My other white Gi I bought second hand because it was too small for them, so I wasn't sure what to do for first wash for a white Gi.
