By my maths thats about 75 fighters that have fought since October 1st and havnt been tested by USADa.....

Yet we all getting upset because Brock is going to be tested for a month, albiet not four months

Cody Pfister lol obvious juicer right there. He's gonna return looking like Sage.

Everyone needs to get tested, no doubt.

Still better than when they used to only do a post fight on the main event fighters and one or two others on the card, however.

The glaring difference being that Brock specifically was exempt from a rule that is in place for people in his exact situation and the UFC purposely circumvented it.

Those other guys just weren't tested. I don't agree with that either, mind you.

But but its Brawk and he's fighting he goat Hunt. We don't want to see Hunt one fight away to .500 again.

Ok help me out.. The way I read it.. Usada requires 4 month notice prior to fighting so you can be tested during the months prior. In this case obviously Brock didn't have 4 months to give so they exempted that And he will be tested now.

Mike Pierce is still hanging around?

Wow look at all the shitty $2,000 to show fighters not being tested.

Testing costs more than their payday. It's well known that they purposely only target top ranked / high profile fighters.

Its also well known that Lesnar is following all the guidelines. and He WILL be tested.

Going by principle, I'd say it's worse that there are winners who have not been tested than Brock getting a 3 month reduction of the testing period.

Realistically, however, there's no clear agenda behind, say, Moontasri not getting tested as opposed to Brock not getting tested. It's because of budget, time restraints or incompetence, whereas with Brock it's a moneygrab.

It's the shamelessness that's infuriating.

Brock is still getting tested, right? Its just that he hasn't been tested four months out - thats all thats going on right?

i could put together a list of guys who have signed and fought in less than four months, not sure i can be bothered though :D

I can't believe Mike Pierce hasn't been tested! What is the world coming to! Must he paid up with the right people

Because half of those people are not even worth naming as contenders for anything.
Brock is fighting MARK HUNT, a top 5 HW... and let's be honest, a fan favorite.
If he was fighting a universally loathed person, we'd be cheering.

no, hes on the "since cut" list

I see that now. Shame it ended like that. He arguably beat Koscheck and Hendricks but he'll probably be remembered for screaming his lungs out with Palhares yanking on his leg, if at all.

I get it man, I'm way against PEDs. This is just the flavor of the month

The difference is that all of those guys were still subject to being tested randomly whether they were or not. Just the fact that they could be tested could deter them from using anything illegal or at least force them to use something that's undetectable.

Personally, I don't see a problem with Brock not being tested until he signs a contract. That rule is for people that retire while being under a drug testing protocol then re-enter it, not for people that were retired before USADA even came aboard. When Brock retired that rule wasn't in place so he should be grandfathered in if you ask my personal opinion. And I feel the same way for fighters like GSP and Sonnen who retired prior to USADA but still may come back to the UFC and I don't like either of those fighters but it's a rule that makes sense only for fighters that retire after USADA has been in place and not before.

It's like if the UFC signs a new fighter to a contract, that fighter shouldn't have to go through 4 months of testing just to be able to fight in the UFC because they were never under USADA's testing beforehand.

WE ONLY CARE IF BIG NAMES DONT GET TESTED ENOUGH. GOD.

CODY SHOULD GO ON A CYCLE.
