Which was a Closer Fight?

I scored the fights for Edgar and Condit respectively. They were both pretty damn close, though Condit deserved his win more than Edgar deserved his. I thought he won rounds 2 and 3 pretty clearly.

Using logic will not lead you to that result. Not really sure what you were watching

both are close but aldo vs edgar was much closer. difference is condit vs hendricks was just 3 rnds, condit only won a rnd, while edgar won 2 rnds against aldo

Condit vs Hendricks was not a close fight and Johny clearly won as much as GSP won vs Condit. Aldo Frankie was razor close and could have gone either way.

Condit/Hendricks was close but for sure a win for Hendricks.

Aldo handled Edgar it wasn't close. The big problem with Edgar is that his style looks far more impressive over the choppy feed of the average Sherdogger. When you watch his fights on ppv or UFC Unleashed, etc... you see punches that looked significant watching on a stream look far less significant; you see more just-misses and blocked shots on a good HD TV feed.

In terms of scoring, Aldo/Edgar has the potential to be closer. Taking the fight as a whole, Condit/Hendricks might have actually been a touch closer, but there isn't a way to properly score the first two rounds for Condit. Scoring Aldo/Edgar a draw is doable, though not the best score.

Condit/Hendricks.

Aldo had two rounds where he completely dominated the fight. That's 40% of the fight that Aldo won clearly. Rounds 3 and 5 were toss up rounds but I lean towards Aldo. Aldo clearly lost round 4.

Hendricks clearly lost round three and even though he won the first and second round it was competitive the whole time with Condit landing clean shots. The second round was very close.
