Which UFC stars do you think should be promoted more?

Are their PPV sales released???
Ufc estimates combine US/Canada I believe.

Edit: which is not the case with boxing since they are required to release US.

Guys who the UFC should be pushing more and aren't. Your thoughts?

Steven Thompson
Doo Ho Choi
Thomas Almeida
Great choices but my short answer is, 'everyone'. Of course they'd have to pay them more then so...

Wonderboy

Yoel - drug failure hurts but even prior to that the guy wasn't getting enough love.

Sterling

The heavyweight whose name I can't spell that beat Blaydes

RDA

The ones that are willing to promote themselves.

The UFC hype machine gets behind those willing to do the extra work in order to stand out, if all you do is win fights in impressive fashion you only deserve the same amount of promo as the many other fighters on the roster doing the same thing.

What on earth are you talking about? You're still salty from the other day, I was talking about domestic PPV sales which as far as I know doesn't include Canada, you really need to grow up and stop following me around looking for an argument, you're not even making any sense.

i don't know how i could possibly explain this better... You're saying the ufc was more willing to promote GSP over the smaller amount of revenue they earned from canadians in america over the larger amount from canadians in canada

if you can't handle people calling you out, you might want to try saying less stupid shit

No I didn't actually say that at all, I said due to the shit load of Candians living in the U.S. because they get counted in domestic PPV buys, quote me where I said anything about Candians who live in Canada? You can't because you're making it up just to start an argument with me because you're still salty from whatever the fuck we were were arguing about the other day, I can't even remember what it's about and you're still emotional and salty about it.

Hard to say, unless you're undefeated then you have to have a pretty exciting fight style to draw casual fans and you have to have a certain personality that isn't necessarily humble, unless your GSP of course but his draw was his dominance and the fuck load of Canadians living in the U.S.

his draw includes more than domestic buys, which is the point i've been making since the start, which is the point that has gone right over your head

common sense doesn't equal emotion

You do know that by draw I mean PPV Sales right? To be fair his live gates in Canada were amazing too but PPV buys is always the first priority for the UFC when it comes to drawing power

again... you do know that ufc ppv's are sold in canada too, right?[/QUOTE]
You haven't said that, I asked you did they have a PPV platform or if one of their networks acquired the rights and you didn't reply, I'm pretty sure Meltzer acquires his numbers from the U.S. television networks and normally that's who people go to to find out what the buyrate is.

forgive me, i thought you were asking if canada has their own statistics for ppv buys,

you do know that ppvs are sold internationally right
Not everywhere, europe watches for free, you really should stop acting like you know everything when you clearly don't, talk about being a hypocrite.

They need to promote Conor more for UFC 200

internationally doesn't mean everywhere

and it was my understanding that european countries still offer ppvs on subscription based services, so again, the ufc is still making money

I didn't say at any point that they weren't making money from other countries, just that their domestic PPV sales are top priority.

which as i said, makes no sense when they're making more money from his native demographic from his native land.

the ufc caters to where the most money comes from

None. Not a single one.

What the UFC needs to do is figure out how to teach guys how to promote themselves and be promotable. They need to teach them how to use the platform the UFC already provides.

I'm sure there are guys out there that are overlooked, and that is unfortunate, but every guy can raise his profile and make it easier for the UFC to build them up.

I don't even think you have to talk trash like Chael or Conor, but you do have to make yourself interesting and available to fans and media. Social media makes it easier than ever if you know how to do it. The UFC should give guys classes on social media and how to give a good interview. I guarantee you that every guy either has an interesting story to tell (as long as they tell it in an interesting way) or some adventure they can share with people.
