There's been some great UFC runs.. Silva, Bones, GSP, Max, Conor, Ferg and the list goes on.

Even though I'm an Anderson fan and the most excited I've even been watching MMA was watching his creativity, my Favorite run was Bobby Knuckles.

I'm an Aussie and watching him during TUF I really liked what I saw from him, he was raw compared to what he is now but he showed sold hands, a dynamite blitz and a really awkward stance where he would be very heavy on the lead leg where at times his knee was sort of hyper extended, I didn't like the stance cause I always fear fighters getting there legs broken (used to watch Bloodsport weekly as a kid and the scene where the dude gets his leg snapped always taunted me - then it happen to my fav fighter :()

Anyways, he was my favorite Aussie on the show and from memory the Aussies got smashed for the most part but Bobby won the show. From there he had a fight against a no name and won a decision, smashed that marine dude and when he started to gain some traction he had 2 back to back losses and then announced he was moving up a division (beginning of the end for most fighter) & every fight @ MW he had just seemed like he was used as a stepping stone and in no fight was I confident he would win and was just hopeful. I don't need to explain what this savage has done but cheering him on and seeing him do what he's done has been amazing.

I'm not a fan of Anderson Silva but his run was spectacular. It got to the point that my friends and I thought that in order for him to be beaten, they had to be a trained sniper in the building to take him out during a fight. Fights against Griffin, Belfort, Okami and Bonnar were scary to watch and my heart was always racing when Silva was about to fight.

AS and Bones were just so much better than everyone else during their runs and it was so much fun to watch. Outside of the UFC I'd have to go with Wand's run in Pride. It was just so violent.

McGregors was great until Nate I.

Dan Hardy until GSP was cool too.

Weidman

Cain

GSP and JONES…2 best runs in the history of the sport hands down!

BJ Penn from 2007-2009 was the most exciting for me.

Every guy GSP fought was on a run....until they fought GSP.
JBJ's entire career was a run.
AS made guys look silly.
Holloway.

Robbie Lawler's return run in the UFC.
Every fight was either a vicious KO or a brutal blood soaked fight of the year candidate.

Robbies return run

Every fight was a fight of the year canidate

Robbie vs Hendricks 2
Robbie vs Condit
Robbie vs Rory

Back to back to back

Great stuff

Run to the title Machida was my favorite.

McGregor's run to the title was epic, but his run after the title has been a letdown

Since I am an oldie. My favorite success story or "run" I will say most definitely Robbie Lawler. I watched his career accelerate like no other fighter. He began his career at UFC 37....BECAME UFC WW champion at UFC 181. Incredible in my opinion to see a fighter grow so much when many thought he would never be no more than a gate keeper.

GSP’s run was amazing. Didn’t he go a few years without losing a round? He made really good fighters look bad and is the most well rounded fighter we have seen.
