which martial arts does conor mcgregor do exactly?

Yes. I can't believe the only guy to take him down in the UFC was that 2 time All American wrestler Chad Mendes.

I'm just kidding. We all learnt that Conor isn't the worst wrestler in the UFC when he out grappled Holloway with a torn ACL.

Boxing seems to be his base. He has good tkd kicks, and uses a karate stance. He also has a black belt in Diaz trash talk.

A proper answer is his base is a southpaw boxer as his core followed by learning the all around jiu jitsu and ground game.

He has since added capoeria, taekwondo and karate into his stand up arsenal making it much more effective to disguise his boxing which is where he still wins his fights

His ground game is competent but not world level and always seen as a threat to him

He is esseintially to Chuck Liddel as to what the Iphone 6 is to the original Iphone - similar in fundamentals but significantly more glitter

Solid answer.

I concur that most of the additional arts and movement work are done to keep the opponents guessing and give him more opportunities to put people to sleep with his powerful left hand.

His style is primarily a hybrid of Joe Son Do and traditional Indian Pehlwani folk wrestling

Conor's base is Drunken Boxing. That is the base for most Irish and few Chinese.

Everyone can take steroids if they want, give Conor a couples pints before a fight and he will clear every division.

Boxing is his main base. But he also trains TKD, Karate, Capoeira and all those martial arts internet tough idiots say are absolutely useless in a real fight.

Every fighter does 3 things. Kickboxing, bjj, wrestling. Anything else is just the icing on the cake. Conor learns some tkd, some capoira.

Now a days its just a matter of learning a move you like on YouTube and practicing it rather then going to a martial arts school.

Conor how ever puts in the time to visit such schools.

He adapted his Karate stance from training with Gunnar and has added some kicks to that stance from Taekwondo and Capoeira.
Conor's base is in Boxing and has a powerful 1-2 as well as a purple belt in BJJ.
Conor is a true Mixed Martial Artist.

I thought that myth was rid of over 10 years ago? A martial art style is only a tool. It is up the user in how effective/ineffective it is. The only one that's a bitch to get to work is Aikido because it was def not meant for fighting, especially not mma competition.
