by what criteria? chance to overtake UFC? current viewership in the US? current viewership worldwide? best fighters? profitability? respect amongst peers? accessibility to viewers?

and you forgot Combate.

most US centric fans will blindly say "Bellator" because that's the most easily accessible to US centric fans. it may also very well be the right answer also, but maybe not. i don't think it has the best fights, but it certainly has the biggest names, and arguably the best fighters. but quality of fighters is that's not the main reason why many people will pick them.
