Which GOAT win was the best between these 2?

Im having a debate with @pankrat and we would like to know sherdog's opinion.

Please mods add a poll.

Which was the best win :

1. Silva's win against Okami (tko round 2)
Okami was ranked number 2 MW in some medias at the time, stayed at that spot for about 2-3 months. He was on a 3 fights win streak at the time. He also lost his very next fight against Boetsh then went 3-1 before moving to the minor leagues.

2. GSP's win against Fitch (UD 50-43, 50-44, 50-43)
Fitch was ranked number 2 WW in all mma medias at the time and stayed at that spot for around 3 years. He was also ranked top 10 p4p in some mma medias. He was on a 16 fights winning streak at the time. After the fight, he went 5-0-1 before losing to Hendricks.

But level of opposition matters. Yushin didn't put much opposition and looked beat before the fight even started.

GSP over Fitch easily. No offense to Okami, but Fitch was a major force for many, many years. He won something like 15 or 16 fights ina row before GSP thoroughly dominated him, and then won another five in a row.

And hell, Fitch beat Okami.

Look im a jon fitch fan and i think that is georges only real impressive win but silva finishing okami by a mile. Finishes matter especially in title fights.

Okami was in a 20-3 run going into the Silva fight and any of those three Ls were vs better fighters than anybody Fitch faced coming to his tittle shot.

Okami gave Rich Franklin, Jake Shields and Nate Marquardt all they could handle. All 3 ranked top5, all 3 in their prime. None of them managed to take a clear, dominant round over Yushin.
It talks about caliber of competition and is on par with Fitch's best performances in that 15 winning streak that should be 8, not 15, since the Joslin fight wasn't a controversial decision but a gross robbery.
Numbers are not everything, much less in MMA, and in this case the number isnt even legit.

If you want to claim Fitch was the better fighter cool, but definitely wasnt a different league to the point it justifies saying a decision is a superior performance than actually finishing your opponent after outclassing him in a flawles performance.

This is common sense that any fight fan would agree, those who disagree in this thread does so because GSP is involved but they would take the opposite stance if any other fighters were involved

Gsps greatest flaw was his inability to finish average and pedestrian fighters in his prime. Silva is also much older than georges and still continues to fight to this day while georges has been retired for a decade aside from a cherry picked title fight against a lucky one eyed cyclops 40 year old champ.

Hard to say. Both Fitch and Okami were tough fights for anyone (except for the champ) in their divisions at the time, but neither Fitch nor Okami were ever a true threat to GSP or Anderson. I’d say Anderson’s win vs Okami was better because it was way more entertaining. Anderson clowned Okami during the fight and easily put him away. I think that might’ve been one of the first fights where Anderson flat out dropped his hands and invited his opponent to punch him in the face. That stuff is legend.
