Which game did you log the most hours this year (2024)?

Vampire survivors would be a close second for me but I'm sure it's Pro Evo. It's my default game and certainly better than FIFA.

Probably about 35 hours in Ghost of Tsushima. I tap out at about the 40 hour mark of any game.

FFVII Remake Part II, Dragon Age: the Veilguard, Gears of War and probably NCCA 25. Shoutout to Vampire Survivors and Blasphemous Part 2.

The Settlers of Catan mobile game. My wife and I play a game pretty much every day on my lunch break.

I've put a shameful amount of hours in Diablo 4. Last year I put an even more shameful amount of hours in Diablo 2 Ressurected.

Single player is Rimworld by a large margin. Online in CS2. It was Siege last year, but I’ve barely played it this year.

CS2 - 800 hours
  • Last Epoch - 250 hours
  • Deadlock - 175 hours

With Deadlock i wont play again till full release. Upcoming season of Last Epoch im thinking about playing a werebear druid. CS2 im praying Train and Overpass come into the Active Duty map pool replacing Mirage and either Ancient or Dust2 after the Valve Major.

They need to get rid of ancient until they can fix the fps drops on T side. That water is fucking brutal, and I’m on a 7800xt. I drop from 180fps down the high 90s.

Probably rogue trader. Bump up the difficulty if you are a seasoned CRPG player.

Helldivers 2
Hades 2 Early Access
Black Myth Wukong
Shadow of the Erdtree
Tekken 8

It is, especially if for a couple of runs you don't get the setups that are most useful, think I've put in about 40hours this year into it, picked it back up recently too
I have almost 800 hours in Hades 1. Fantastic game. Only reason for that is I played since early access

On PS5:

Ashamedly First Descendant was my most played game this year. I did have a good time with it but eventually the disrespectful way it abused my time for grinding got to me. I logged in 300+ hrs with it.

In 2nd place Returnal is still there. This game is one of my all time GOAT. It’s so easy to pick it right back up and make a run. The save feature allows me to run for 20mins or more and then leave and come back the next day. I dearly hope they make a sequel to this game one day.

3rd place was Wukong. Played the shit out of it, beat it - both reg and secret ending. Was in the middle of my 2nd run. Power leveled till I was able of unlock every node I was actively using. Then stopped. Might go back to it but there’s too many games out there.

PC
In no particular order:
Icarus
Civ 6
Hades II
Helldivers II
That fake Pokémon game
Some Viking drilling game (both first person and over the top)
A few other games I can’t think of (posting this from a coffee shop)

Which is why i think they removed all elevated ground water from Overpass earlier this month. With Ancient its in a weird near zero traffic spot.

Overpass didn't have the performance issues like Ancient, but it did have that audio bug.

Overpass did actually in November of last year. Why i upgraded my CPU last December. On Overpass in Premiere i went from 400'sh frames in gunfights to 280'sh frames in gunfights. Visually making my 390hz monitor look like a flip picture book, lol.

With Ancient the performance hit has gotta be with how much water is present in T spawn. An since you primarily play casual(?). Water physics of 10 T's splashing around at round start doesnt help.
