Which fighter has the best money management? Perry or Hendricks?

Hendricks at least owned a business, even if it was terrible.

Mike Perry couldn't even own a car for a month without ruining it.

I am sure Hendricks will get through life, one way or another.

Perry? I am not convinced this guy makes it to 40 years old.
Sad but true

I’m gonna have to go with Hendricks. Starting a business and making payments on a vehicle is > knocking up some disgusting hobbit, starting shit with people in public after having too many Mike’s Hards, and wrecking the car that you over leased five minutes after leasing it.

Hendricks had a business. That's more than most people can say.

It's the battle of the Welterweight Burger Boys!
Which one of these two fighters has the best concept of money management?
Mike Perry or Johny Hendricks?

- Believes that coming in overweight for a fight saves money in taxes
- Believes that less cornermen = more savings

- Believes that anyone can open their own restaurant
- Believes that owning something bigger = better (his oversized Ford F350 truck)

Feel free to add more suggestions for either fighter and I'll add it to the list.
Jose Aldo’s fancy fast food place “famous burger”, I would totally go there if I ever visit Brazil post-COVID. That Low-kick burger looks good.

Hendricks was also getting ripped off huge by his coach and team who were taking like 40 or 50% of his winnings.
That was original deal with his coaches. Hendricks never had to pay for any of his training or coaches while he trained with them on the condition that if he became champ they would get half.

Tyron Woodley deserves a least an honorable mention. He may not be a burger boy but he knows how to season both sides of a chicken. And he was a real spendthrift:

“I blew through a lot of f**king money, man. A lot of money. Jewelry and VIP and all these experiences, all these things that came with the championship life. You really, when you come from where I come from, you never imagine making that type of money. You never imagine being in that type of position. You work hard for it, and I didn’t get there by accident, but nobody taught me finance...I bought, like, seven cars and, f*cking, two houses, and all these trips, and nobody ever lifted a f*cking hand when we was at a restaurant, 10-15 people went to dinner. And I was going to VIP clubs and all this sh*t, like, every other week and I just imagined making that amount of money for a very long time and they very quickly said, ‘Poof! Damn! You gonna tell me, March 3rd, that this is different? It’s not the same?’ And it’s just a lesson learned.”

Johny is not a smart man. That's a terrible deal.

Lol @ trying to point out that Mike Perry is a bad person by calling his pregnant partner a “disgusting hobbit”

Hendricks allmost made 2million...
in total purses? well, if you take out taxes (almost half), the money he paid to his coaches etc, and a failed restaurant ... lets just say he's prob not buying a new truck anytime soon. I think I remember reading that he's working as a wrestling coach now.

I dont know...
He also got paid pretty good for his pro wrestling gigs in japan, i think...

And Pride did pay big names better than the UFC did...

He got 3 kids...so there goes a good bit of money for college...

His divorce probably hurt bad...

Multiple surgeries...
he made millions for sure. I'm guessing he did not save or invest his money well.

His coach covered all his bills, while he was working his way to the top. He got there and said wait you are taking too much know.
So instead of paying a percent when he was coming up, he waited til he was making bigger money and then gave them half? Guess the joke was on them tho, since he lost the belt in his first defense. shrug.

lucky for him he lost the belt on his first defense.

Everybody knows it's Marc Coleman

Invested in some giant trophies in the early 2000's, and that shit is paying off big time lately

I think Igor would have won that tournament if Coleman had to fight Fujita instead of having him quit early.

Rumor has it Coleman got there easiest road to a Grand Prix win ever because he took a dive against Takada. Allegedly ofcourse
