It's the battle of the Welterweight Burger Boys!
Which one of these two fighters has the best concept of money management?
Mike Perry or Johny Hendricks?

- Believes that coming in overweight for a fight saves money in taxes
- Believes that less cornermen = more savings

- Believes that anyone can open their own restaurant
- Believes that owning something bigger = better (his oversized Ford F350 truck)

Feel free to add more suggestions for either fighter and I'll add it to the list.

Mike probably has more career earnings in the UFC than Hendricks, Platinum shit only.

Hendricks at least owned a business, even if it was terrible.

Mike Perry couldn't even own a car for a month without ruining it.

I am sure Hendricks will get through life, one way or another.

Perry? I am not convinced this guy makes it to 40 years old.

Hendricks at least has a, singular, vegetable on his burger. You can save on a nutritionist by putting a leaf of lettuce on your burgers.

Perry - He knows he the CTE is catching up to him, might as well spend that $$$ while he still has enough brains to enjoy. Its actually a brilliant strategy, more fighters should take note

Money spent on food is not wasted money.

Everybody knows it's Marc Coleman

Invested in some giant trophies in the early 2000's, and that shit is paying off big time lately

Them big checks Pride gave the fighters inside the ring are just freaking awesome...

This one is like 200k

Perry made more for beating Mickey Gall than Hendricks did for winning the WW strap. Hendricks was also getting ripped off huge by his coach and team who were taking like 40 or 50% of his winnings. Add that to his failed restaurant, I wouldn't be surprised to hear "Hi my name is Johny, and I'll be taking your order tonight" somewhere in Texas.

Gotta wonder what happened to that 200K, that he's now selling the trophy and check on Ebay. Brutal.

...i think Perry is like 900K behind Johnny
You would think, but as I mentioned elsewhere, Perry made more for beating Mickey Gall than Hendricks did for winning the WW belt.
Timing is everything in life. shrug.

He also got paid pretty good for his pro wrestling gigs in japan, i think...

And Pride did pay big names better than the UFC did...

He got 3 kids...so there goes a good bit of money for college...

His divorce probably hurt bad...

Multiple surgeries...

His coach covered all his bills, while he was working his way to the top. He got there and said wait you are taking too much know.
