My pick is Yoel Romero. His UFC career could have looked very different. He lost decisions to Whittaker, then costa, then Izzy to finish his ufc run, and all of those losses could have easily been scored for him, with Whittaker and Izzy fights being egregious and costa fight less so.

Other Names that spring to mind are

Petr Yan - two fights that could have gone either way were scored against him. Has bad luck in coin toss decisions. Also that DQ, though not the judges specifically.

masvidal - has a record number of SD losses I think.

Angela hill - has had a lot of SD losses too I think

Whittaker/Yoel 1 was a pretty clear Whittaker win, the rounds he won being 3, 4 and 5.
Whittaker/Yoel 2 I do agree was the wrong decision, IMO it should have been a draw with rounds 1, 2 and 4 going to Whittaker and 3 and 5(10-8) going to Yoel.

I haven't watched the other two fights you mentioned in a while. From what I remember, I wouldn't call the Costa fight a robbery considering it was very close so perhaps I would have to rewatch it later.
Also I really don't care for when it comes to who won Izzy/Romero, absolute stinker of a fight and no way am I going back to watch it again just to score it.

If I had to throw in one name that had some back luck with judges, I guess Micheal Johnson is one.
I believed he won his recent bout against Mullarky and the Dariush fight all the way back in 2015.

If Yoel won two 10-8 rounds that would’ve been 47-46 in his favor and the correct decision, not a draw.

I specified he won one 10-8 round, that round being the fifth.

Yoel did not have two 10-8's in that fight.

Shogun vs Machida first fight

If you don’t think Yoel won two 10-8 rounds then you went to slip and fall school.
I suggest you rewatch the fight instead of being immature and insulting someone for expressing their opinion.

Round three was definitely Yoel's, but Whittaker fought back and landed hard elbows and a very solid headkick. A 10-8 would mean that it was a completely one-sided round with the opponent barely putting up any offense of his own, this wasn't the case for round three.

Yan had one bad decision to my knowledge. Hardly the only fighter that has ever had a bad decision before.

Masivdal came to mind for sure.

Meh.
Yan was straight up robbed against O'Malley, but that's only one single fight with bad judging. Losing the Sterling rematch was fair.
Masvidal deserves all those splits. He fights lazy. Throws heat but is not willing to put a pace on.
Angela Hill is almost the same. Doesn't push forward enough when she is evenly matched.
Romero is the only one of these that makes some sense. A split loss doesn't always mean a fight could've gone "either way" and one guy just got lucky. Sometimes guys are straight up robbed, which is obviously much worse. So Romero still isn't even that great of an example. His losses to Costa and Izzy were apparently close in interpretation.
(Although I never got why people saw the Izzy fight as closeImo Izzy won that as clear as day.)
And so was the second Whittaker fight. So many close fights, but never clearly robbed really.

Zhalgas Zhumagulov recently, poor guy.
This is the only correct answer to the question.
