Off the top of my head GSP beat at least 6. Hughes X2, Penn X2, Serra, Condit, Hendricks, and Bisping.

Plus numerous champs from SF, WSOF, etc.

Hehe, GSP losing to Serra being on that list is an example of why it's a silly stat. Bonus points for losing the title so you can reclaim it again - doesn't make sense.

Speaking of that - I think most fans would've been more impressed with Mighty Mouse if he just lost the title a few times and won it back, cause then he would've defeated more former champs.

Because 1) Jones's numbers are void now thanks to PED's 2) The answer is actually GSP (Hughes x2, Penn x2, Condit, Hendricks, Serra, Bisping)

Nog had not yet become UFC champ.

Nogg was the lineal UFC HW champion when Fedor beat him; a title Fedor would hold himself for 6 years and 13 fights.

Randy tried to fight him, but a lawsuit prevented that. Cain and JDS were long after his time (peak, so was Carwin. He tried to fight Barnett, who pissed that fight away and entered a tournament with Overeem in it. It was not as if he was ducking them.

I have no idea how Prime Fedor would have done against prime Cain or JDS, but it can be fun to speculate. Lesnar, well, sorry, I have trouble taking him seriously. Perhaps that is just me. (I consider Fedor's run ending after he stupidly dived into Werdum's guard).

I also would have liked to see him face Igor and Sergei.

He was in the same orgs as Barnett and Overeem way too long to have not fought them. I'm not big on Lesnar either, still seems a joke to me, but he was on top during Fedor's run.

Bottom line, Fedor needed to go to the UFC. He fought cans and previous champs instead.
