this is true. the older a fan i became, the more interested i was in the how a moment fit within the context of 1, 5 or 10 years of MMA. as a younger fan i only cared about the moment.

which is basically true in most other facets of life too.

still, old timers have blinders on too. i stand by my first answer; "gamblers".
