The one that ragdolled everyone in Strikeforce. Or current DC

The DC before the one that licked the sweat off of Jon Jones shin.

I don't believe that a 40 year old fighing in a cage can stay competitive at the absolute highest level. It is just not physically possible.
Especially not when the 40 year old has testosterone levels in the absolute lowest range for males his age.

I would think DC had his prime in Strikeforce, but for some reason, he still fights like a 30 year old now.

The guy is fighting for the 2nd belt in UFC ofcourse he is in his prime right now..What can you expect him more?

DC is way past his physical prime. The man is almost 40, his physical prime was 5-6 years ago.

He wins fights based on technique and gameplanning nowadays.

The heavyweight DC from the past. The DC that trained Together with prime Cain. But he is still good enough to beat most of these fighters, respect

The one that threw Dan Henderson around like he was a child.

This was prime DC. If only he started MMA earlier.

The one who had just won the UFC belt and defended against Gus.

Strikeforce DC is the obvious physical prime.

Cormier's physical prime is over but his technique is as good as ever. Since he started MMA pretty late his physical and "techincal" prime didn't come at the same time, so it's hard to tell which version is more effective. Also he has been getting tougher opponents every year during his career, and that makes it even harder.

If I had to guess I'd pick the version of Cormier around the time he lost to Jones and then won the title and defended against Gustafsson and Johnson.

Hendo fight or first Jones fight.

Technically I think DC actually picked up his striking game pretty fast which combined with greater speed made him most dangerous stadnign in SF I'd say. Theres perhaps an argument his sub grappling has improved with age but that could just be down to Rumble and Volkan not being very good on the ground, he didn't look very dangerous vs Anderson for example.
