No, I do that often too. It's insane how often we are hit up. We'll get calls to sponsor/donate to an out of county school for example.

I would also donate to the Canadian Cancer Society (my mom is a three time cancer survivor) and any charity that helps address food insecurity for children and the elderly.

I already make modest contributions to each, but if I ever became mega wealthy, I would allocate most of my funds to these causes.
