Ruiz was perfect for Jones, as the top 5 of the moment go, he was the perfect choice, no doubt there.

He could have beaten many, but sure not all.

I think Jones would've had mixed results but not nearly as bad as some are making it out to be.

totally agree.. tho 1 or 2 of those fights would probably be big KOs and tarnish any of his other potential wins

I wish more people had a reasonable perspective on Jones. He seems like one of those guys that many people just love to love him, or love to hate him.

And that's ok, but it's a problem is when those emotions influence a persons opinions on what he did in the ring. Then you get one crowd that thinks at his peak, he was an immortal (almost the way Jones thinks of himself) and the other crowd who thinks he's a china-chinned coward, who's abilites were mostly that of smoke and mirrors.
