Hey doggies. I just got my own class up and running now. I teamed up with a BJJ school and we will be hosting a smoker in a few months. I need to find a place in the US that sells Amateur Muay Thai gloves, preferably lace ups. Does anyone know a website?

since it's just a smoker, why not use standard 16oz gloves? that's what we used here in CA before smokers were banned

Yeah Armando Garcia banned them, for insurance reasons. We gave up on the idea a while back, it wasn't a real smoker but a intergym smoker.

That's gay. How the hell are people supposed to work their way up to "real" (I mean contested, on the record) fights? I had to jump straight into it, but for the guys I'm training, esp the 16-18 year olds, Smokers are the perfect way to get them started competing in Muay Thai or MMA.

Anywho, good luck with it Clamp.

Thanks but I think we might skip the idea, it's just safer to not do anything like that.
