• Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version.

This new layout sucks, and has decreased my desire to post.
I feel like they did this last year too and there was a drop in posters.
 
The new update pretty much killed the mobile users. I'm assuming that's a pretty big pool. Time is ticking to get them back...if they even give a shit. Let's face facts. We're on borrowed time here, boys.

of course the update didnt help anything, but lets be honest. theres a lot of unorigional, negative as fuck jaded posters on here too. especially in the mayberry.

grown ass 50 year old men still making "sound like aids" posts 5 times daily. posters encouraging others to off themselves and get nothing, maybe a yellow card. while if you call someone too many mean names in response you get a 30 day ban.

it can be tiring
 
I haven’t been posting because the site is fucking awful now.
I don’t get it. I’m sure they’re using a content management/delivery system that other message boards use. And all of those come prebuilt with an auto scaling feature so everything can format correctly no matter what hardware or screen size you’re using to view it.

So how the fuck is it fucked up so badly on my phone? Is this what it looks like on a computer too? It would make sense if that were the case.
 
I don't post much, and I was a lurker long before the join date ; I will blatantly say that it's gotten worse in... moderation and layout... readability... ads.... annoyances.... and just about everything you can fuck up.

A competent layout tested before going live.... but that's crazy talk.

Forget the ads inbetween each post that try to sneak in, and the pop unders and pop outs over the years... they easily could have found sponsors and products relevant to the site, but seemingly just went with spam.

Xenforo may have taken over vBulletin in a lot of aspects, but the implementation here was horrid to watch, and still is months and months later.... seemingly with no real admin/coder working on the shit...?

Let me in the admin CP for a while, and it would take a few days -- not months fix these shit layouts... ;)
 
Yeah struggling with the current aesthetic myself, on my phone it's basically not possible to use this site, on my laptop it's just painful on the eyes... But i'll be patient and just wait it out... I don't mind ads providing they aren't obstructing the the post viewing which was happening a lot, but now I can't even differentiate between someones Sig and the actual post.

If there were a good time to do this shit now is that time though.

They spent weeks loudly announcing that it would be mandatory and anyone who didn’t participate would be locked out of their account until they authorized 2FA.

That was bad enough, but the fact that it was all a ruse to get people to “voluntarily opt in”, then they went and said “oh we aren’t forcing it after all”, made it even worse.

I only come here on my phone and the new upgrade makes it super fucking annoying to browse. Posting is a whole new process where nothing works like it used to.

And thats just the newest super fuckin gay update. The last one with the 2 step verification scared off a ton of people and then the site also worked like shit.

Whoever has been running this place the last year is legit retarded. Have a thing that works and has traffic....lets have a talk about how we can fuck this up. Lets make it more annoying to use!
