What did you glean or think about DH Chois performance last night?

Looked like had returned to old self but I had no isea who he fought last night. It was a good matchup for the Korean

Who or what is next for the Korean Superboy?

I believe Choi shattered Algeos orbital w a left hook or overhand

he looked good and proved me wrong because i always fear that he will be rusty because he doesn't fight a lot.

I harken back to a time..

The guy looked great. Such a pleasure to watch. Well we all saw the FOTY with Cub..

And he fell off the face of the earth. I believe he also served his mandatory time in the military.

Last night was fucking AWESOME!

Its good KZ is passing along his wealth of experience bc most if not all Korean fighters cant seek out training outside of Korea....most dont have that kind of grip

His conditioning is rarely up to par...He seemed winded by the end of the 1st and didnt have crazy output....he wasted a lot of energy on submission attempts

I think he still has the same flaws. He can only fight in a straight line. He enjoys the brawl but there are bigger punchers than him. I don't mind them feeding him fighters that he can beat. He is fun to watch. They can bring Kron back for him.

I don't want to see him fight top 15. He is going to catch a beating against a savvier fighter. Maybe he can beat Barboza who is still in the top 15. Ige might be too slick for him even though Ige is a really short guy.

yes still VERY hittable

Let him bang bro.

I don't care who he fights next.. hopefully he stays active. He is fun to watch.

Barboza would be a fantastic matchup . High rank for Choi but against an aging guy so he's got a real chance and on the flip side Edson has a chance to beat a relatively known and still prime fighter.

I really liked the improved grappling from Choi an he looked strong and his chin held but I agree with your analysis of him, very little head movement with an upright stance and a little flat footed . Fun guy, talented, but he's not gonna get to the top 5.

A fight with Andre Fili who just beat his nemesis Cub Swanson is probably a decent climb up the rankings.

Its a bit tricky with DooHo Choi but the brass certainly loves him so if they want to accelerate that climb he could get gifted a match against top 25 guys coming off loses like Hakeem Dawodu or Billy Q.

I believe they're out of different camps but was anyone else surprised how big the other two Korean 145ers on the card looked compared to Choi? Lee Jeong Yeong and Choi Seung Woo were both 5' 10" or 6' and looked absolutely massive for FW. Didn't do much for them though, as they got finished in barely over a minute each. Probably both drained from huge weight cuts.

He's fun to watch and he's always had a ton of potential, but at this point he just hasn't been active enough.. and now he's not young anymore.

There was a lot of things he didn't do well yesterday. Poor decisions, sloppy submission attempts, got tired quickly, low output. I mean he's just not really progressing from when he first came to the UFC IMO. He used to be much faster.

But he is fun to watch, I just don't really think he's going to accomplish much more outside of some fun fight.

Fun to watch, but still the same fighter... should go train with Jake Paul

It was a much, much needed win. Maybe someone like Josh Culibao could be a good next opponent.
