I was amazed that my bookie looks for boxing matches results in boxrec lol. They almost robbed me a big sum parlay which included Adam Lopez win. It was NC in 2nd round. And they calculated it as if it was a draw. Because of some moron in boxrec who think that no contest is the same thing as a draw, I almost lost a lot of money(That was a very careful and safe parlay). I had several very long conversation with their dumb support, and they don't have a slightest clue about boxing and their own rules. They say that there is no winner, so it is a draw lol. After checking they send me a boxrec link as a proof. When I say that it has no credibilty, they started to blabber about their super confidential and secret data source, which they can't give me a link to. But the second support employee was more sane. She told that accidental clash of heads is a technical draw. I made a research and found out that amazingly it is the case in Britain. Warrington and Lara 2 is really a draw lol. Only after I've shown them unified rules they changed loss to a push.

Why use a bookie? I understand they can front you money but if you lose and don’t pay, things can get ugly quick from what I’ve seen. There’s so many easier ways to gamble now a days.

They look at sherdog for results
Actually they should do it. For boxing it should be tapology of course, cause there is no boxing in sherdog. It is much better than that excuse for a site which is a boxrec.

TS almost got his legs broken by Joe Pesci.

Why don't you just use an app?

Bovada pays them as wins. It comes down to the site really. If your picking a winner and their is no winner I guess that could be considered a draw. It should just be removed from the parlay tbh. I’ve seen it both ways but never as a loss that’s crazy. Check bovada

Tapology hasn't even been doing boxing very long at all. It's definitely not. Most records are not even close to complete. As for mma, obviously tapology is the best.

I had a 4 figure bet once get graded a win by a book that should have been a loss.

Okay how is a NC any different than a Draw when it comes to betting? In my experience they’re both just scored as “pushes” and you get your money back.

Unless they listed that as an option for outcome it's a wash

If they had option to bet on a draw, then if it is a draw, all bets on winner are lost.

Bookies sometimes close out wrong(very rare but it can happen).Few months ago I bet Chikadze/Barbosa fight over 2,5 round and they closed it as a win and I got payed, although it ended earlier.

Not correct.

If you bet a prop on a fight, (ie: Fighter x wins in round 1, or Fighter x wins by submission), and the fight is a draw, you lose the bet.

Similarly, if you bet a prop like, "Fight goes 3 round distance", or "Fighter x +3.5pts" and the fight is a draw, you win the bet.

In both of those situations, an NC would be a push.

Draws are only pushes where you bet on a fighter "straight up" (ie: not as part of a prop).

Speaking of that when I first started gambling I would deposit 100$ and try to have that last for a while I lost a bet I think I had a 100$ on it which was all the money I had in my account and they graded it as a win so now I had about 180 or so in my account. And I knew they would try and recoup the money so I hurried up and bet the entire 180$ on a different bet ended up losing they then started calling my phone non stop and emailling me non stop saying i owed them a 100$ lol I just laughed and deactivated my account.

Also along those lines I dont recall which fight but I believe it was about 6 months ago I was at an MGM resort Casino in Vegas the very first fight of the night there was a fighter about -600 and I wont bet on a fight with odds that big so once it ended I went back up to the machine to place a bet and noticed it was still up there and was like oh wtf so I hurried up and put all the cash on me about 250$ on it and ended up obviously winning lol. I wish they had props still open
