Probably to go see why the fuck the lower half of his body doesn't work anymore?

no it's not. why didn't he give up vs Travis Browne, Volkov, or Curtis Blaydes? he either got rocked or was losing in all of those fights before he won.
Brah you're sighting fights from 2017 & 2018. The Blaydes fight he took no significant damage and landed a hail mary uppercut still pretty early not so huge adversity overcome.

Everyone else has been watching and saying he's been heartless for 6-7 years and are shocked you didnt see.
So yeah its the same old lewis we've seen alot of.

i don't care what everyone else says. the general consensus doesn't mean it's right. i name fights where he overcame adversity, he didn't take significant damage in this last fight either, he literally laid down. all the damage came AFTER he gave up. you named ZERO fights where he gave up. he's not great, he gets overwhelmed but this is the first time i've ever seen him give up.

your argument doesn't even make sense, you say i'm sighting old fights, and then say "everyone else has been watching and saying he's been heartless for 6-7 yrs" so he's been heartless in the same time period as the fights i mentioned???
<Huh2>

2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 WHO taught you how to count? That's more than 6 or 7 years.
He got tired and gave up vs Tai, Spivac, Almeda and Gane. Go rewatch them.

Dana knows what he has in Lewis. He's a character who can provide a nice KO sometime. Until HW gets in better position they can and will use him on cards. He'll get some matchups where he knockouts out someone and there will be someone thinking he could get to a title fight.

He looked awful, but it was against a high-tier opponent. If he wants to continue give him some low-ranked opponents on Texas cards and see what happens.

Seemed like he tried to do the ol' turn the back of your head towards your opponent to milk a penalty/dq and it didn't pay off for him and there was an early stoppage as is standard in modern beta UFC, so it is what it is.

He oughta retire but he won’t.

I loved his fights, most of them, one of the most entertaining fighters who was unlikely to compete for anything inside the top 5.

Even in his "prime" he'd shit the bed on many big fights.

I'm OK w him retiring.

BKFC if he still wants to fight, but he's too old and slow to compete against the top 10 of the UFC at this point

Gable Steveson at the Whitehouse, if Gable wins his next fight which is relatively soon.

back to fuckin Texas and hopefully never to appear again. i love Black Beast and wanted him to be the champion. but that shit was embarrassing.

watching that fight, it makes you wonder how shit is Tallison Texeira. all you had to do was move around a little and Black Beast would've beaten himself. instead he ran chin first into the only way Lewis can win.
Dammit.

I was gonna say texas.

You stole my wise ass reply.<{1-8}>

I think he should be investigated after seeing the end of that fight.

Why?

He got popped in the mouth with a stiff jab and dropped.

It wasn't a HUGE big flashy shot, but a clean stiff jab in the mouth/on point of the chin will put a man on his butt.

Also Derrick is old, about to turn 41 and has not kept himself in the most perfect physical health his entire run.

Agreed. I saw it as a non-disorientating knock-down whereupon Derrick nevertheless made the conscious decision, "That's enough for today; I ain't getting up."

I'm pretty sure fighters are allowed to do that.

vs someone down in the div that he can beat. Either you set him up to win vs easy guys or you try and build someone off him.

Would anyone be against Gable/Lewis at the white house?
