The Warriors use to come back from battle and show the village people and women a re- inacted version of the battle. This over generations evolved into scripted battles that could be compared to stage acting.

You combine that with Americana wrestling and the circus. You get modern day wrestling

It's fun to watch and suspend disbelief, kind of like you do when you are going to see civil war next month with your girlfriend

I considered becoming a regional pro wrestler.
I have a lot of pro wrestler friends.

I'm an MMA fan.

I took my daughter to pro wrestling, and we had a wonderful time.

Pro wrestling is just about as legit as the UFC these days.

People want MMA to grow and be one of the biggest sports but then when ever they do bring in new fans all the douches come out. Almost all the original UFC and MMA stars also did pro wrestling.

When I was a kid I loved prowrestling. From Ultimate Warrior and Hogan to Stone cold and the rock in the attitude era. But about by 2003. 2004. I stopped watching. I was already 18 or 19 by then. Haven't watched it lately because it's shit. Tried getting into it again. Either it has gotten really bad or I'm simply too old for it now. Seems like both.
