I have never seen this fight, can't find any footage I wanted to analyze it before the stipe fight because Browne 6"5 (264lbs), is a very big dude, and watching him box (25-1) he's very good at keeping the distance.
Someone who claimed to see the fight live says cormier wobbled him with a right before taking him down and smashing him.

Anybody got the footage?

Also interesting how this one never gets brought up in the whole mma vs boxing debate.

Browne had one year experience as professional boxer when he fought Daniel.

Daniel was his third professional fight over all, boxing and MMA.

Edit: my bad, he also had two MMA fights.

He didn't just pickup boxing and become 24-0 he had prior boxing and kickboxing experience for years even if just in the gym.

I don't think the video exists, but Cormier said he beat him "gnp Mark Coleman style".

Browne was completely unknown back then, to both worlds

As expected but while searching for the vid I came across a thread where someone claimed the first 1.30 was on the feet and cormier was working his way inside and cracked him with a over hand, trying to see that particular sequence

I thought there was tape of in it one of his highlights, but after about 20 minutes of Bing, I can't find it. It was probably marked as offensive and deleted from existence...kinda like pogs.

Cormier ate it, it's gone.

Brownes managers did everything in their powers to erase that connection between him and his failed mma career.

Failed mma fighter to undefeated hw boxing champ isn't a great ring

There is plenty of footage of Browne getting his shit pushed in by Dillian Whyte...

He has a positive record in MMA and he's not undefeated in boxing:

Yea I saw that fight.
And I know hes not undefeated my main post litterally says 25-1 look at it again.
He went 25-0 without losing that's the point.
Meanwhile couldn't rack up a decent win streak in mma.

I followed DC MMA career from the very start.
Even back when the fight happened there was no video...

Ffs they fought in a arena full of people, I have never been to fight event where there wasn't multiple people holding their phone out recording, there's gotta be video.
The organization they fought in has different videos of different fights but NONE of the fights that happened at that particular event that's fishy

This has also been bothering me for quite some time. I really want to see this fight. I don't understand how there is no video of a fight involving the former team captain of the US Olympic Wrestling team.

Probably they did not recorded this event themselves.

Fans probably recorded, but:
1. It's 2010. Not everyone had a good quality smartphone or cared enough to use it.
2. Most of the fan videos probably had crappy quality.
3. If they published these videos on the internet (big if!), they might've given them names hard for search engines.
4. The fight happened 8 years ago. they could've erased these videos already

Never saw a full video but if you watch his fight with Palelei you can see the highlights of that fight.

Around 20 seconds in the video and the finish at 50 seconds.
