I wasn´t there but I remember the case. He was promoter, manager for Gilbert´s opponent and also the ring ref. Ring ropes gave in during clinch and they had to fix them. Once they were fixed, ref told Gilbert that his opponent takes the same wrestling hold he had before ropes went slack and they continue the fight from there. Gilbert and his corner didn´t think so and Gilbert ended up scoring a KO against the ref.
