Last time I went camping was when I was in cub scouts probably the age of 8.

Just don't like camping. Not my thing.

Few months back, i like spending time in Forest/wilderness.

Knew a guy who would drop into wilderness for two weeks without food except for what he can catch..Best part is he dragged his wife and daughter into the ordeal as well

The day after Thanksgiving this year. I'm just starting to get into it but it helps that I'm going with small groups each time and I'm not staying for very long. I have another group camping trip in the works for Spring next year, 2-3 days in Big Bend.

Used to go 3-4 times a year in Nelson County, VA with some guys that rode dirt bikes and ATVs with. Last trip was around 2016 iirc. We all kind of disbanded with life but at one point there were about 6 of us that went and rode.

Good times.

Back in the early 90's when I was a teenager, camping is dumb, I'm not gonna spend money and effort to live like a homeless bum

I think some people can get somethin out of it, and that's cool.

That's he appeal Pete, spend hundreds to act homeless.

I camp on the cheap though. Tent, easy to make food, canned or frozen pre-made stuff like chili, nature, no tech, just a time to be in away.

40 year ago, unless you count time I lived in my truck for a while

it was when Nadal played his first match against Federer in the French Open.

Been a long time. I'm too old to sleep on the ground in a tent anymore. I will wake up on social security. So if I go camping I have to bring pussy shit to make it through. I don't need heat or electricity or anything like that just something so my back doesn't totally lock up.

In my younger days I would go on hikes in the Iron Range and Boundary Waters and carried all my gear on me and basically just made a lean to out of a tarp to sleep under. Did several where we canoed across the Boundary Waters and had to carry all our gear and portage canoes. Used to love it but not i any kinda of shape to be a savage in the woods anymore....lol.
