When was the last time an unranked newcomer came into the UFC and upset a top ranked guy?

Weve had alot of upsets recently but they were pretty much with a ranked guy upsetting a very established top tier guy or something along those lines. When was the last time we had a Lauzon/Pulver, JDS/Fab type upset?

We had EWM/Paul Harris but that wasnt in UFC.

We have Cucuy/Landan tonight so i was just wondering.........

There was a short notice fighter about a year ago that came in and upset someone. That's vague but I just finished work so I'll try to remember and update this post. I remember he was a champ in some other big regional show like titan but he really impressed me. It was supposed to be a squash match like the horcher fight but the new guy came in and got a win. Let me try to remember.

It's pretty rare for a debuting fighter to get a ranked opponent these days, much less a really top guy. Check the women's divisions. I'm sure it's happened in there, though it could easily be someone who was already well established.
