So LW, WBW recently, HW, etc. They tend to change hands a lot. Do you like that fact or dislike it? Do you think it shows the division is more skilled or do you think it shows that the division is weak b/c nobody can dominate it?

I personally a somewhat dominant champ like Bones/DC, Robbie. When the belt changes hands every 1 or 2 fights it just waters it down and I care less. I just think. Welp, Alvarez just won the title. Ferguson will come up and take it from him next.

Depends on who is dominanting. If its someone classy like Ronda or Jones then I like it.

I think dominant champs make the division more interesting, that way when a new interesting prospect appears it's like "Oh is this going to be the guy to dethrone so and so?"

I like total chaos so.
The more they change hand, happier I am.

(except if it's a guy I really like for champion)

If I don't like the champion, I like it. If I like the champion, I don't like it. LOL. Simple as that.

I'm selfish, I don't care about what sounds better for the sport as a whole. I want my guys to win.

I prefer the "Fedor cannot be beat!" days over the "musical chairs" modern era.

I like it. It keeps things fresh and interesting and serves to highlight just how impressive a a long streak of title defenses really is.

The worst was when Chuck Liddell left, it took forever to settle

If I remember it right it went

Chuck Liddell

Rampage
Forrest
Rashad
Machida
Shogun

Jones

car crashes

DC

its harder for fighters to become stars and for fans to emotionally connect with them if a fighter loses every other fight

dominant champs are good for the sport

It hinders the creation of legends in the sport IMO.

I like the changes. I love GSP and Anderson but I just knew they were going to win, surprises make things exciting

If the belt is changing hands often, it usually means that the division is competitive, and that is good. Nothing worse then a division like FLW with 1 dominant champ. but overall 0 depth, when u know the outcome of all championship bouts beforehand.

The fewer people that wear the belt, the more valuable it is. The UFC belt has lost tons of credibility, though, because they hand out title shots to whoever is currently trending and they create interim belts every other event.

Dislike it, that gives the chance to gatekeepers, mid tier fighters to be called "the best.....in the world", when they are not, they just won a fight that was probably match of styles, that was probably luck.....See the womens BW belt, Ronda defended it plenty of times, Holly and Tate both lost it at their first title defense....Nunez might do the same thing.

It wasn't just Fedor.
You had Anderson, GSP, and BJ ruling their divisions for a good chunk of that same time.
It was the best time to be a fan.

Holm to be the first female fighter to become a 2 time UFC champion.

Don't care, just hurt each other in the cage please.
