When strickland started to fight in the last 2 minutes of the fight he looked like he was about to finish DDP

Why did he wait so long? DDP was clarly overwhelmed when strickland pressed forward and started to brawl in the last 2 minutes. DDP is really uncomfortable when someone pressed forward or brawls with him( Till, Tavares, first round Brunson , last 2 minutes strickland ) instead he likes for opponets to give him some space so he can lunge forward with his punches and blitz. Why is it so hard to watch tapes and figure that out? Eric Nicksick failed strickland in this fight.

Just because he was able to do something in the last two minutes doesn't mean he can do it earlier in the fight. Things aren't the same when you are both 4.5 rounds deep running on pure heart.

Its because its the last 2 minutes, and that is basically the do or die moment and you know you can empty your tank at that point

If Sean tried that in the first 2 minutes, he would gas out very quick and wouldn't be able to pace himself for 5 rounds

In his fight with Adesanya, he fought like he had nothing to lose. He came forward, landed punches and ate punches like nothing while screaming.
In his fight with DDP, he fought like he had everything to lose. Just jabbed the whole fight. Not sure why he didn’t kick when he’s normally very effective with it.

Sad to see but he psychologically broke.

fact is that 2 judges gave Dricus 3-1 after 4 rounds, takedowns made the difference
Strickland needed a KO/TKO in the 5th to win
