I don't see how Wilder/Ngannou is any less one-sided than Fury/Ngannou. Ngannou should try to get the Jake Paul fightThe better fight is Francis vs Wilder
Fury makes this too one sided hes way too good
What the hell was that? Francis is so sloppy he would get humiliated in boxing.Yeah I'm not sure what the hell Joe was thinking lol
Because Tyson is much muchI don't see how Wilder/Ngannou is any less one-sided than Fury/Ngannou. Ngannou should try to get the Jake Paul fight
Does he though? Why? He has headlined 3 PPV with a 2-1 record in those fights and the only buy rate yet shown is 350,000 which is pretty weak. On a personal level I hope these guys make as much as they can but he has a low number of defences and minima evidence of selling big fights, how does that translate into big pay days
The gap between Wilder and Fury is insignificant for a 0-0 boxer. Like if you are pleb, it doesn't really matter whether you pick a fight with Batman or SupermanBecause Tyson is much much
much much better then Wing em Wilder
edit: Also Jake sleeps him and Fury lets be real here
This is kind of a BS argument that the UFC likes to use to justify not paying fighters more.
The UFC is supposed to be in charge of promotion, but they largely promote the brand of the UFC, not the individual fighters. And then they'll blame the fighter for not promoting themselves, while the UFC also controls how the fighters are sponsored at events, and what they can do with other organizations and sports. It's BS.
We'd be able to see a much more accurate idea of a fighter's value if they had proper promotion. Instead, we will have the president of the company and the promoter publicly badmouthing his own fighters and champions. Being so petty that he doesn't even show up to put the belt around the champ's waist, or go to the post fight press conference.
How can we talk about what a fighter is truly worth when the promoter downplays their worth and is playing favorites? Making up bullshit interim titles and such.
How much money does Floyd Mayweather get relative to how exciting his fights are, and his weight class?
Fact of the matter is is that the UFC wants to keep the fighters under their thumb, so they put the brand first--that way, a single fighter can never take over the whole sport. If they lose a popular fighter, the show can still go on because the people remember the name "UFC" before anything else.
Maybe because Fury called Francis out himself saying he wants to box him with UFC gloves?
Francis knows he won't beat Fury. He's boxing because it pays way more $$$$ and I don't blame him at all.
Why are people going on an on about Francis "challenging" Fury in boxing.
Francis isn't challenging jack squat.
This is about a MASSIVE payday for both Fury and Francis. There's a LOT of money to be made in a spectacle and they should be able to earn it.
I ain't hatin'...
Ngannou is a great MMA fighter but he does not have the technical skills to challenge Fury in a boxing match.
This was painfully obvious against Gane. He had to adjust his fight style a broad range of MMA techniques (wrestling) to win this fight. That's not a dig at him...he is an MMA fighter and that is what he is supposed to do....but without a broad range of techniques Fury kills him.
