My dad was a tough SOB in his younger days but then when he was in his 70's he would drink and thought he was still tough, and would talk shit to younger dudes at the bar. So many times I had to run through this decision in my head on whether I'd defend him or let him get knocked out.
We didn't have the best relationship so it was a tough decision.
